I want to help others design liberatory spaces. There are many unique challenges that arise while creating spaces that don’t fit within the box of capitalistic expectations. Some common challenges, for example, include:

• Figuring out a sustainable funding model,

• Difficulty developing collaborative leadership,

• Navigating public processes, like licensing,

• Meaningfully engaging with community, and

• Navigating conflict in group processes.

These are all challenges that can be navigated, but you won’t likely find many resources within the existing systems to support your unique needs. You may even be told many times throughout the process that what you want to create isn’t possible and face heartache and financial losses.

That’s where I come in! I can work side by side with you to plan for these challenges and how to navigate them with more ease and efficiency. I can also support your group process, including:

• Facilitating collaborative planning sessions,

• Conducting community listening sessions,

• Strategic planning and bylaw development,

• Funding structure and fundraising support,

• Policy and procedure development, and

• Coaching through specific challenges.
