Frequently Asked Questions

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions. Here are a few common questions and answers.

  • I do not have set prices for services. I work with you to determine a price that feels accessible and fair to both of us—even if that is $0. I also accept trades for services, such as a trade of art, tickets to your upcoming event, veggies from your garden, etc.

I value my time and support a transfer of resources from those with financial privilege (see below for more information about how I define this). If you have financial privilege, I estimate my services at a rate of $60/hour.

  • I define financial privilege as:

    • Having enough money to make ends meet plus frequently enjoy activities such as eating out, going to shows and events, and/or

    • The absence of major debts such as student loans, credit card debt, and medical debt you can’t easily afford to pay off, and/or

    • Owning major assets, like a home or more than one vehicle, and/or

    • Having a financial safety net, such as family wealth or an expected inheritance that would prevent you from major financial hardships or homelessness, should you have a financial emergency.

If you largely fit into one or more of these descriptions, you have a degree of financial privilege where it feels appropriate to me that you pay a supporting rate for my services.

  • I am not an expert, but I have valuable experience of doing this work myself and in community for over 10 years. My background includes areas of public health, small and large nonprofits, grassroots groups and organizations, small businesses, and collectives. I am trained in and have experience implementing cooperative operational models. I am interested in working with groups and organizations ready to explore alternative ways of operating that break cycles of oppression and violence. This requires an openness for growth (which means openness for conflict) and trying new things.

  • I am white, neurodivergent, transgender, skinny, and disabled with chronic pain and nervous system dysregulation that has a moderate impact on my daily life. I was raised in a middle-class family where most of my basic physical needs were met and had access to higher education. My masculine-assumed presentation grants me more access to space, safety, and opportunities than transfeminine people. I am a childhood DV survivor and was a parentified child. I’m an ecosexual, queer, relationship anarchist, and communal being living outside of a traditional single family household model. I’m a perfectly imperfect human committed to growth, repair, and healing. All of these identities show up in how I experience the world and access privilege. My white identity is my most salient identity in most spaces and I continue to unpack how I uphold and embody white-ness and white supremacy culture in my everyday life so that I can grow and support others in their growth. I will not be the best fit for supporting all groups and will offer support with referrals to others who may be a better fit, when appropriate.
